How I teach

Bring the maths you are actually studying.

A Calculus II student needs a different lesson from a biology student taking General Mathematics. I work from your course, your notation and the topics you are expected to know.

  • Work from your syllabus, lecture notes or topic list
  • Fill prerequisite gaps when they are causing the difficulty
  • Practise methods on suitable examples
  • Prepare for tests and exams with a clear focus
  • Build the reasoning needed to work independently
