I have spent years studying mathematics and teaching it.
My background includes university lecturing, mathematics teaching, research, mathematical modelling, statistics and data science. I use that experience to help students make sense of the mathematics in front of them.

My teaching experience includes university courses in pure mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics and data science.
I have also taught secondary mathematics and supported university students taking maths as part of another degree.
The student should leave knowing more than the answer.
A useful lesson should make the next problem less mysterious. I want students to understand what they are doing, spot the structure of a problem and become less dependent on help over time.
